We check and test the manual trip switch
We test for tripping current, time at rated amperage, and time at 500% rated amperage, and record all times on a job sheet
In the event of a fail, a Do Not Use sticker is fixed inside the meterbox and all switches are turned off. The site supervisor is contacted and a nominated representative from your office, such as the OHS Manager or Building Manager, is notified by email.
Records of all tests are kept at our office and are available in our VIP Lounge
Only current certified Residual Current Circuit Breaker (RCCB) digital testing machines are used by Buildsafe personnel
All persons performing "Testing & Tagging" duties on your sites adhere to scrutinized Safe Work Method Statements, ensuring they are authorised to conduct testing as per AS3760 and that their activities are performed in conjunction with AS3012 and AS3000.
